Re: Couldn't drop dbspace

Hi Ivan!! First of all: before use what I am going to tell you be sure that it is at your own risk. Read it and you'll know why. I have had the same problem several times and what I finally did was to drop the file where the dbspace reside fisically. Then the next time you start Informix online it says that can not find the file for the dbspace but after that you should be able to drop that dbspace whit no problem. I am using standard unix files, so I don't know if it will work with raw files. What I have here is AIX 4.1.5 whit IBM J40 and Informix On-Line 7.13 Good luck!
