ESQLC for DOS/Win

I gave up on making ESAL/C 4.1 work with DOS/Win. However, what am I to use? I want to write a DLL (callable from BC++4.0) so Informix sez use MSC6.0. MSC6.0 does not come with a WinSDK. Will MSC6.0 work with Win3.1 SDK? The Informix ESQL/C manual mentions only Win30 not Win3.1. Does this release of ESQL/C work with Win3.1? thanks in advance terry
