Yes, I,ve used ERWin from the early ERWin/SQL days, up to the present. You should probably upgrade to ERWin/ERX 2.6. How large is your model (Entities, attributes, .ER1 file size)?? Our largest is 200+ entities, 3000+ attributes, 889K, which includes all descriptions, triggers, stored procedures, indexes, etc.; we make extensive use of both the logical design and physical storage option portions of the program. This is with ERWin/ERX v2.6, Build 20 Version 101. Admittedly, it takes a couple of munutes to load the model, but once loaded, it is very responsive, and not a single problem. I run this on a WinNT 4.0, P90, 32MB workstation. -- Sky +-------(southwel@smtpgw.maricopa.gov)-------+- Maricopa County -+ | Schuyler L. What do you do when your model grows and it starts giving GPF headaches? Thanks, Emil.
