Informix-SQL 4.10.UC2 Delimiter Question...

I go into Informix-SQL Version 4.10.UC2 and do the following: 1. Choose Form from the Main Menu 2. Choose Run from the Form Menu and select a form to run 3. Run a Query from the Perform Menu and produced some data 4. Last, choose Output from the Perform Menu and enter a <filename>.txt, then choose Create, Current-list, and then Unload-format When I get through with the 4 steps above, I have the text file with the data. The fields in the data in the data file are separated (delimited) with a | (pipe symbol). My question is, how can I setup Informix-SQL version 4.10.UC2 to use a tab character as the field delimiter for the output files instead of the | character? This will help me append the data file directly into FoxPro 2.6 instead of have to go through Excel95 first. Or, does anyone now how to append a text file with fields that are delimited with a | character? Any help would appreciated. J - j@pinehurst.net
