Detection of Secondary

Hey gurus, I need to know how to determine if an instance is the primary or secondary when it starts up. I want this so I can delay the start up of a secondary in my scripts and give the primary time to start up first. This is for when all the servers are shut down and restarted. This is in Version 11.50.FC8 with HDR on a HP Itanium 11.23 server. Does anyone know an online command for this? Or do I have to look in the logs? Thanks! When it starts up, it should be noted in the output from "onstat -" whether
it's a primary or secondary.

You might want to export the following to reduce the time an oncheck -pr takes
to run for an offline engine.
export INFORMIXCONTIME=1
export INFORMIXCONRETRY=0
oncheck -pr |grep 'DR Last Mode Change'
on secondary DR Last Mode Change 8 Secondary mode
on primary:
DR Last Mode Change 7 Primary mode

You can get this by querying the sysfeatures view in sysmaster.
