Subject: US-CO-Denver - Informix DBA/Developer Wanted I apologize in advance to all who prefer not to deal with job postings but we need someone very good! - Lester Tasks ----- - Develop Web enabled Informix Database Financial Applications - Develop and support a Web enabled Informix Data Warehouse We delivered a Web enabled Data Warehouse to a customer in Denver. It is now in production and the customer has asked us to do more. We are working on several projects developing Web applications using Prolifics Software, Java, and HTML to access Informix Databases. We need developers to support these projects and also support our existing Data Warehouse. We need DBA's to support the data models, write data conversion scripts, monitor data loading routines, develop the web interfaces, and install and implement the web query tools. We use Netscape web server, Brio Technologies web query tools and of course Informix IDS 7.3 as the database. Skills/Experience Needed: ------------------------- Required - 5+ years Informix DBA, SQL, 4GL, and OnLine experience; UNIX shell scripts, C and Unix system admin experience. Helpful experience: data warehouse projects, data conversion, Sun Solaris, Informix IP Loader, web development, html and Java. Location: --------- Work will be done at our customers site Lakewood, CO. There will be some travel to other customers sites and our office in Virginia.
