Sarrbanes Oxley Act - ugh!

Not sure if/who is affected by the above, but I'm in a situation where I will be forced to administer my servers with a uid other than informix (I have to beg for root now on occassion. Oh yeah, I do get to use 'sudo - informix'). It is apparent that these two "blank blanks" have never been in an administrative position where a super user is neccessary. Is anyone facing the same thing? What are your experiences? Does anyone have any ammo I could use to avoid having to use an uid other than informix? Help
