Boy, I hope this is just a communication problem... :-)
If you want to drop a database, you can just go into DBACCESS and say
Database|Drop.
If you do an oninit -i, it completely reinitialises the entire OnLine
instance, which will trash *all* the databases in your instance.

But assuming you actually want to destroy your entire OnLine
installation, make sure that all shared memory has actually been
removed. You can check this by doing an onmode -ky and then
checking with ipcs. If ipcs shows that there is still shared memory
in use, use ipcrm to remove it.
The minimum size for your rootdbs is generally determined by the size of
the logical and physical logs and the sysmaster database. Could you possibly
provide us with your onconfig file and machine size, # of CPUs, OS version
and exact OnLine version?
