EGL support for ESQL/C?

Morning mateys In between watching England rubbing the Aussie noses in the dirt (cricket, for the colonials amongst you. Like baseball (not) but better) I've downloaded the Rational Application Developer V6 bundle (a couple of Gb, which sorely p*ssed off my network admins here) and then deploying it then having to download 4 fixpacks to get the 4GL/EGL conversion utility (another Gb or so). So far, so hoopy. I've even converted succesfully a cursor-based form program, so progress has been made. However - reading the conversion utility user's guide, there's a little clause in the "Conversion Limitations" section, page 1-3 stating "I4GL programs that call ESQL/C are not supported". I have a case open with tech supp on this but wonder if there's anyone out there in listland who knows whether this is ever going to change? Our main app calls several ESQL/C lib files so short of rewriting them in EGL we're stuffed. Cheers Malc

Hope Eng does not lose the last test. rk-
