Morning Folks,
=20
Unix : HP-UX hostname B.11.00 U 9000/800 538706517 unlimited-user
license
Informix : Informix Dynamic Server Version 9.30.HC4=20

I am receiving the following error message during a dbimport process.
(importing from same machine, different instance)=20
=20
*** loadcur
2 No such file or directory
=20
I made an assumption it must have been a unl file missing or similar. I
grepped all unl files from the sql file and then compared them to an ls
of the directory. All files are present and accounted for. Does anybody
have any pointers where I can look to find out the name it is looking
for?
=20
I have been through the syslog but there is nothing that I can pick up
as being related to the event.
=20
Any assistance or pointers gratefully received.
=20
Thanks

Hi,
you can try to run dbimport by a "truss-like" utility (I keep
forgetting what it's called on HP-UX, on Solaris it's "truss",
on Linux it's "strace") that will produce a trace of system
calls.
In this utilities output you should then be able to determine,
what the filename is that apparently doesn't exist. That makes
the error condition much clearer and often leads to the
resolution.
And try to write e-mails without the "=20". :)
Regards,
Martin
