Informix OWS 7.2 and ODBC

Hello informix users, Can anybody help me with the following problem? Can anybody give me a small exemple how to access data in an informix database on my Unix server using ODBC. I want to do this from Microsoft Access 97 or Microsoft Excel. How to connect? How to get data? How to insert data? etc..... Thanks for any advice. Danny
