Solaris kernel parm c2audit:audit_load

We're using IDS7.30.UC2 on Solaris 2.6. The release notes indicate that Informix tested this version with the kernel parameter c2audit:audit_load set to '1'. What does this parameter do? What is its default and range of values? Is it documented in any other Informix literature? Where can one go with Solaris-specific questions like this other than this forum?
