Err: 25587, what can I do ?

We have recently upgraded from Informix SE 5.0 to Informix ONLINE 7.2. Our Unix system is a Dec Alpha (the last version). We have a specific application running on it. Since the upgrade of the database we encountered a problem that crashes the database and the Unix system. Our application, before crashing, reports a 25587 Informix error with a 81 ISAM code when running a simple request like this : select atable.code, atable.label from a.table where atable.code is null (the table contains only these two columns). No other request is needed to crash the database. Can anyone help ?
