IDS 9.40 runs on download edition SuSE 8.1 and 8.2 after update to glibc-2.2.5-x (< glibc -2.3.x). SMP will crash 8.1 with kernel panic and Informix 9.3 and 9.4 all refuse to run with SMP. regards, Guido Stepken > IDS 9.40 runs on SLES 8 (United Linux 1.0) after update to glibc-2.2.5-165. > (available at http://support.suse.de/psdb). > > Andreas > > >>I'd recommend: stay with Solaris!
