You need to make a slight adjustment. Your version data exists (VERE) should be NOLIMIT. Your setting for VERE=4 will bite you. In a perfect world (ya, right) your settings are tight, but correct. But if you ever have a need to take more that one backup per day you will force copies to be removed that you may need. We set VEDE to unlimited and let RETE do the work for us. We also set the logs to their own copy group but that really isn't neccessary. As for your use of onsmsync, I can't comment because we don't use it. We started with Tivoli using informix 7.2 and onsmsync wasn't available - so we developed our own solution. All I could say was try it and see what objects are removed from Tivoli, sysutils, and ixbar. In order to be sure you are going to have to peek into the Tivoli database.
