Informix v7.24UC6 hangs

We're using V7.13 on HP-UX 10.20. This weekend we've tried to upgrade to V7.24UC6. After some time, perhpas an hour and a half, Informix suddenly hangs. We can't connect to it, even to do an onstat -. I can't kill the oninits, they just "ignore" a kill -9. I've tried all this with both a shared memory and a network connection, but it's just the same. We're going to have to back out. Has anyone else had similar problems by any chance? Thanks Neil Truby aracnet Limited Weybridge, UK
