Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

We experienced a similar problem.
Here, it was related to the fact that our instance's Resident shared
memory requirements exceeded the Unix Kernel parameter 'shmmax' [the
recommended value is in the release notes]. Once Resident SM was less
than shmmax, the problem disappeared.
BTW, it affected most of the onstat commands...terribly frustrating!

I was running an 'onstat -u' command and have been receiving the
following message:
"changing data structures forced command termination"
I was wondering if any of you have seen this message and might know
what it means and how to correct it?
