SunNet Manager & 7.22.UC1
Posted in 1997
Hardware: Sun Enterprise 4000 OS: Solaris 2.5.1 Informix: 7.22.UC1 SunNet Manager: 2.3 =20 I'm trying to evaluate using SunNet Manager to manage various Informix databases at our site. When I try to extract the schemas from the mibs supplied with the re- lease I get failures. Here are the mibs I have: /usr/informix/snmp%ls -al *.mib -r--r--r-- 1 informix informix 11512 Dec 26 14:37 applV1.mib -r--r--r-- 1 informix informix 14855 Dec 26 14:37 applV2.mib -r--r--r-- 1 informix informix 64741 Dec 26 14:37 onmibV1.mib -r--r--r-- 1 informix informix 66815 Dec 26 14:37 onmibV2.mib -r--r--r-- 1 informix informix 47586 Dec 26 14:37 rdbmsV1.mib -r--r--r-- 1 informix informix 57843 Dec 26 14:37 rdbmsV2.mib Here's what a successful schema generation looks like: /usr/informix/snmp%/mnt/mib2schema applV1.mib Translating .... Translation Complete. Schema file in "applV1.mib.schema Oid file in "applV1.mib.oid" Here's what I'm getting otherwise: /usr/informix/snmp%/mnt/mib2schema applV2.mib Translating .... Whatever the case, has anyone found a work around? Does = anyone have the schemas and "oids" for these mibs? Larry Kemmerling AT&T Wireless Services Aviation Communications Division
