Informix licenses operate on an honours system except for one user licenses which are normally distributed as evaluation copies. These will enforce one user only. rgds -- -- Peter Tashkoff NZ Kiwifruit Project Consultant/DBA Marketing Board. I've got a very strange problem with my OnLine 6.0 on SCO. The problem is : I have Informix licensed for 5 concurrent users. But I can connect to OnLine as many users as I wish. I've tried at least 16(!!!) users at one time. It doesn't rejects me! The question is: how OnLine counts users? Does it counts connections, user sessions, userthreads, transactions or something else? In all cases it was more than 5 while I've made such experiments! I don't know what to do further - my application should not allow to connect more than 5 users at one time! Could anybody make this clear for me? (please!!!) Thanx in advance. Ivan Lyakhovenko, xTech Ltd., Novosibirsk, Russia
