So no worries, be happy. It seems that your program is changing to use more and more memory of its own and those addresses are bumping up against the shared memory attach address which is INFORMIXSHMBASE. If the growth in the application is legitimate you might try increasing INFORMIXSHMBASE to some HUGE value, like 1000000, so you never have to adjust it again. Remember THERE IS NO COST to bumping this value up. Art S. Kagel
