unknown problem (217)
hi,
i done the following statement
select * from datei
returning 217: Column (plot) not found in any table in the query.
information from systables (tablename='datei') :
colname tabid colno coltype collength
id 146 1 262 4
plot 146 10 1 2
i dont know why this can happen ?!
any help would be appreciated

Don't know what is your problem but it will be much easier if you give us table
schema. Post output of:
dbschema -d your_db_name -t datei
Versions of Informix and OS will help, too.
