Re: Stored Pocedures - Reports

It should be quite easy to start it via a system command in a stored procedure as you sugest. The key is you have to start a shell script that sets up all environement variables needed and then start the 4GL program. I believe I have seen something about having to set the TERM variable although your programs obviously don't display anything. The other ones that must be set are the usual ones for any use of the engine and 4GL documented in the manuals. parobek <icc.com.uk@ibm.net> wrote: :I have got a Client / Server application which makes an extended use of :stored procedures on Informix - Online v.7.13 AIX o.s.. : :Majority of my report are produced using Infomaker V.5.
