Re: Future of Informix

First: May be you guys (and others) should check out: http://www.informix.com/answers/answers/english/uxius91.htm ux = unix 91 = database engine ver. 9.1 ius = your guess Prety interesting! May be even Tim get's just a little bit happier. However I must say there is a problem in that it first asked for a username/password. When I supplied my usual one for the techinfo senter it didn't accept that and later just said not found when I tried again. I do however see this as a sign that Informix plan to make the documentation available at least. Hopefully it will work withing a short while. You CD-ROM Docs suck. Quit :> :Well, I wouldn't say HTML, but acrobat would be a better choice. But several manuals are allready available in acrobat format. Even downloadable from the Informix web site. Check out http://www.informix.com/answers/answers/english/pubs.htm The problem is of course that the Acrobat format isn't particularly usefull for manuals. HTML would be better if all appropriate hyperlinks where included. This isn't very hard to create at all. :Billy Wheeler wrote: :> Amen. You only need a free Acrobat reader on your PC (even available for the legacy users - Unix/Motif - I think).
