Temporary Tables Unload

I'm in the process of writing an application in ESQL/C that creates a series of temporary tables as a intermediate step. What's the best/easiest way of dumping the contents of the a temp table to a file for the purpose of debugging. Something along the lines of the UNLOAD command would be ideal as I'm not overly concerned about pretty output ;-) Thanks in anticipation Pete
