ESQL/C Bug on Digital UNIX 4.0e

Hi everyone, I have installed ESQL/C 7.24FC6 and IDS 7.30.FC8-1 on DS 20 (Digital UNIX 4.0e), DB_LOCALE and CLIENT_LOCALE are set to zh_CN.gb. I can compile demo programs demo1.ec, demo2.ec and demo3.ec under $INFORMIXDIR/demo/esqlc, but when I run demo2 and demo3, they cause a memory fault. demo1 runs OK. Does anyone know this bug and workarounds ? I have reported this bug to informix, no reply yet. Thanks. --Yang
