informix 201 error

HI everybody I need to interface PHP with Informix at the moment i have bypassed the crash problem using the adodb libraries, they work fine at the begin, ok the connection, but i get an error -201 on any query (also a simple SELECT * FROM table_name). I'v done 2 jpg screens of error, in vb6 (mdac support) an php (adodb support). For the other method (the sdk one), i have read the "how-to" form IBM, and used the versions (like php 5.1.2, apache 2.2.2, pdo_informix.dll, etc.) that they linked on the page. In the end i get the apache.exe down every time i try to retrieve the data (in both cgi and module php setup). Almost forgot, the connection strings i'v used: $db = new PDO("informix:DSN=10.10.1.120", 'informix'); //10.10.1.120 it's the dsn name, not a mistake and $db = new PDO("informix:host=10.10.120; service=1525; database=dbinfx1;server=cvdaletcp; protocol=onsoctcp", 'informix'); Btw i'v already done the connections via Access odbc w/o problems, and the ILogin Demo let me in. Error -201 is the ubiquitous 'syntax error'. Basically, IDS doesn't understand what you've requested it to do, and can make neither head nor tail of the command. So, which statement are you executing when you get that message? Note that you have already connected to the database - at least, you have almost certainly done that.
