Won't work. When ontape opens what it thinks is a tape device, it first reads the
tape header to verify that the tape contains a valid backup image. It then closes
the tape, which rewinds it. Finally it reopens the tape and begins to read it and do
the restore. Because a reading from a pipe "consumes" the data, you can't close the
pipe device and reopen it and have the results pick up at the beginning again.
