Gupta SQL Windows performance

Just a little more info... We have seen our application run 5-10 times faster when running on a 486DX66 compared with 486SX33. Both the application code and the database access was *much* faster. I suspect SQL Windows always uses double floating point for numbers. This would explain the why the application code runs faster, but I have no real idea why there is such a great improvement in SQL router for Informix performance. If anyone could enlighten us on these matters, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Len.
