Hello to everyone out there. Theres a question that I thought I had the answer for but I'm not sure if I can do it the way I want to. I need to populate a table with the following information upon an instert, update or delete. The rowid of the row that the action occured upon, the table name, and the action that occured. I'm currently working on a temp. replication solution for Informix to Progress. The connectiviity works but I need to pass the information about what has been updated, inserted and/or deleted to an applcation. I have found that it would be easier to populate a table and have the application select the needed information from that table. Now I'm stuck on coding the informix trigger/SPL needed to make this work. If anyone has any Ideas please let me know as I have been reading but not finding the answers that I remember to be there. Thanks for any and all help. Eric B. Rowell DBA -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum
