Informix on Sun 690 MP

We are interested in anyone's experiences running Informix On-line 4.10.UE3 on Sun 690 multiprocessors. We are currently running SunOS 4.1.2 with Database Excelerator on Sun 690's with 4 CPU's and Informix On-line 4.10.UE3. We are experiencing database lockups which are the result of strange deadlock stituations involving latches. These lockups have been occuring about once a day with a small number of users. The one common event seems to be that all lockups have occurred while a process was involved in selecting a large amount of data. For example, the following tbstat excerpts show a user rk which is waiting on a latch that it already owns. We have been working closely with Informix and Sun tech support to resolve the problem. Has anyone else experienced this type of problems on Sun multi-processors? At this point we seem to be the only customer who has reported such a scenario.
