Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
The original poster asked how to list the tables in a dbspace with their sizes. Doug Conrey suggested oncheck -pe, which failed with a configuration file warning; bozon said to set INFORMIXDIR and ONCONFIG and mentioned system tables. Radhika Gadde supplied a sysmaster query joining sysptnext and systabnames using DBINFO('dbspace', partnum). Answered.

oncheck -pe <dbspace name>

Make sure $INFORMIXDIR and $ONCONFIG are set and that you have
permissions with your login ID to access them. There is also system
tables that can give you this information.

System tables which can list out all the tables in a particular
dbspace ?
Hi,
You can use the following query to get the table names in a specific
dbspace.
select the sysmaster database then run this query...
select
tabname
from sysptnext, systabnames
where pe_partnum = partnum and DBINFO("dbspace",partnum)="your dbspace name
here"
order by tabname;
Thanks,
Radhika
