Installation question

We are planning to upgrade the OS on one of our servers from HP-UX 10.10 to 10.20. Does the installation of Informix attempt to link to any OS libraries? I would like to install the 10.20 version of Informix 7.23.UC4 prior to the OS upgrade in an attempt to expedite the upgrade process. I would hate to do the Informix install prior to the OS upgrade only to find out that I need to install Informix again. Thanks in advance.
