Richard, I recall a similar bogus error using 4GL-RDS under a very specific set of circumstances: - The form was in a window of with N bytes. - One field a "comments = " clause where the comment was longer than the width of the window. This was a bug in 4.11 of RDS and was fixed by 4.12 or something. Is this a possibility here? Are you using RDS?
