I have a spacr2 and I use openwindows. I want to get a spreadsheet package (to do computations, analysis, and graphics). Is there any major difference between WINGZ and lotus-Unix? That is, assuming lotus unix is out as I heard a rumour.... I also heard a rumour that WINGZ hung the system quite often. That was actually told me at a show by a SUN representative a year ago!!! IS this true? Thnks for help WingZ is pretty nice now. There are both OpenLook and Motif versions available (I have the Motif version). What I have works fine. It includes a utility to link to an Informix database. This seems to work, but I haven't exercised it much as of yet. The older Lotus123 I've seen was a fairly primitive product compared to WingZ, but I believe it has been updated since then. You can see both in many of the Unix trade rags. Lotus123 is most definitely available on Sun Unix (as well as others). -- Douglas S.
