This note was sent to our sales force. I have permission to post to the net. I have removed a couple of references which would mean nothing to the outside world. --Bill Informix Now Offers Connections to Visual Basic, Access, and DataEase ---------------------------------- To follow up on an earlier mail regarding our joint marketing agreement with Q+E Software, We are pleased to announce that the Q+E ODBC Pack is now shipping! The Q+E ODBC Pack lets your customers connect Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, DataEase, and many other ODBC- enabled applications to Informix servers. This capability will let you sell Informix server products into accounts that have standardized on third- party application tools like Access. You don't have to wait for proprietary gateway products anymore! Although we will not directly sell this product, we will soon be able to demo this technology in each of our regional sales offices. For more information and for a listing of Q+E Software offices worldwide, please refer to the ODBC Strategy Paper dated June '93. For additional copies of this paper, please contact your local sales office or email to billd@informix.com. ====================================================== -- %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% William Daul Advanced Support INFORMIX SOFTWARE INC. 4100 Bohannon Dr. (415) 926-6488 - wk Menlo Park, CA. 94025 uunet!infmx!billd or billd@informix.com
