You need several components on both the client and the server: Server: - Informix-NET (if you are running SE) or Informix-STAR (for Online) in the same version as the engine you are running. Client: - Informix-NET/PC Version 5.01 - Intersolv's ODBC driver for Windows (There is the ODBC Pack with about 20 drivers for different databases, but also single-driver licenses are available. Since you are using the engine version 4.1, make sure you get the driver labelled "INFORMIX" and not the one labelled "Informix5".) - A Windows application capable of accessing ODBC (e.g. Excel, Access) E-Mail me if you need further info.
