Just one other comment, and that is that the device in /dev should be
character special, not block special as shown below (the first letter
should be c, not b). I don't know what would happen if you used a
block special device; hopefully it wouldn't work. As it stands, you
apparantly have two distinct device drivers pointing to the same
spindle...could lead to some interesting problems.
