Informix & DNS...HELP!!

Thanks in advanced for anyone able to help me. I have and existing database installed and I am trying to load the DNS named on this server. When I move the /etc/reolve.conf in place, I start to get CONNECT errors saying the database does not trust the server. I have edited the /etc/sqlhosts file, to reflect the new domain, and I am not sure where to go from here...anyone's help would be gfeatly apprechiated....Thnaks in Advanced
