Informix-CLI Big Hoax identical to ODBC

Hi guys ! I need some help again I tried to use the Informix call interface (CLI) to write some programs. I discovered that it is identical to ODBC. Infact it shares the same set of header files as ODBC. ie:- sql.h and sqlext.h (these files come with odbc). I dont see any difference between CLI and ODBC. Am I missing anything or is this the case. Is there ANY advantage to using CLI vs ODBC. I would also like to know if there is any difference between these two. When Informix reffers to the driver manager does it reffer to the ODBC driver manager ?! or does it have its own . If so what is it ? ( .dll name ok) <I ask this because, when I install CLI the driver is visible through the ODBC manager > I would appreciate it very much if someone could put me on the right track .
