XPS Guru's BuildSMI Failed..

Hi I am trying to get IDS XPS up, but buildsmi is contantly failing. the system is coming online perfectly but it is not able to build sysmaster so it is of no use to me. Even I tried with the "buildsmi" script but it is also failing. Does any one out there know about it, why it is not able to build it under SUN Solaris 2.6 box.
