IDS 12.10.FC12 Solaris 10 1/13 We are preparing to install 14.10 on a test platform. There are a few new ONCONFIG parms to consider. One of them is RSS_NON_BLOCKING_CKPT, which, according to the documentation, enables or disables non-blocking checkpoints on an RSS. The documentation on RSS_NONBLOCKING_CKPT seems pretty sparse. Nothing about any other effects, costs, benefits, or factors to consider. Just on the face of it, it seems like, "What's not to like?" But, the default is disabled, so maybe there is some tradeoff to be considered in deciding to enable or disable. Does anyone know of any downside to RSS_NONBLOCKING_CKPT? Thank you. DG
