Jeff,
I replaced my dtterm entry in $INFORMIXDIR/etc/termcap with the
one you've provided, dbaccess still prints out the same message:
"The type of your terminal is unknown to the system"
No matter what I put in the $INFORMIXDIR/etc/termcap file or
what INFORMIXTERM and either TERMCAP or TERMINFO environmental
variables are set to, dbaccess repeats the mantra
"The type of your terminal is unknown to the system"
It gets pretty fustrating pretty quick.
I would like to see what these environmental variables (are there
any other env variables relevant to this problem?) are set to on a
HPUX 10.20 system where dbaccess is happy with TERM set to "dtterm".
I am running DB-Access Version 5.03.UC1
Can anyone else help?
