Dirty Read with Coldfusion

Hey, all. We're running ColdFusion 9 against an 11.70.FC7 instance, and it insists on using Committed Read. I set up a sysdbopen() to set it to DIRTY READ, but it doesn't seem to honor that, almost as if CF9 is explicitly executing SET ISOLATION TO COMMITTED READ (or, more likely, SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL READ COMMITTED) after it connects. I know that sysdbopen() is working, because we also SET LOCK MODE TO WAIT 5 in there, and that's being picked up. I see documentation on-line for forcing READ UNCOMMITTED (aka DIRTY READ) in CF10 and newer, but was wondering if anyone has figured out how to set it up in CF9. Thanks.
