My experience with Enterprise Replication tells me you don't need to use it
to solve this problem (hammer to swat a fly). ER is designed to replicated
between multiple machines on a network located in different geographies.
I would look at exporting your database and importing it into a different
database. Since you are on the same machine, you can use Informix onunload,
onload. Stick those in a script and cron that puppy and you should be fine.
