dotnet and connection manager

HI, A partner write the application using dotnet. currently they use HDR on IDS11.50 FC8,but they don't use connection manager. Do anybody know whether connection manger could reroute the connection request from DOTNET? thanke for your time.

If you are using the Informix native .NET provider in the CSDK/iConnect version 3.50 or later it should work. Art Art S. Yes, Connection Manager can re-route DOTNET application to the proper server. I installed CSDK 3.70 (3.50 also should work) on XP machine, and build the DOTNET demo program C:\\\\informix\\\\demo\\\\dotnetdemo\\\\quickstart\\\\cs\\\\helloworldconnect.cs with buildapp.bat run setnet32 to define CM SLA oltp1 on that machine then run helloworldconnect.exe against CM SLA oltp1 helloworldconnect.exe -conn "DataBase=sysmaster;Server=oltp1;User ID=informix;Password=xxxxxxxx;" -log log.txt the output file log.txt ***** Hello World ***** ***** Connection to server succeeded!!! ***** Server: oltp1, Server Version: 11.70.0000 FC5 Client Locale: en_us.CP1252 Database: sysmaster Database Locale: en_US.819 Data Source: oltp1
