Hi,
suppose you have an SPL procedure 'A' in DB 'one'.
Then you can execute this procedure from DB 'two' by using
execute procedure one:A();
This seems to work most of the time (i.e. it does what it should do).
However, every now and then we get a -999 (Not implemented yet) error.
What we think that is happening is that in case of the error message,
the implementation of the function was already removed from memory
because of other procedures that are going to be runned.
So the remote procedure should be loaded again from some sys-table (from
DB 'one'). Probably this kind of accessing some sys-tables of another
database is not yet implemented yet. (going to DB 'one' and executing
the function once and then restarting from DB 'two' does not give the
error anymore...)
So a solution could be to somehow make those specific procedures
memory-resident, however can this be done? And if so, how?
Is this really what is going wrong and has anybody some ideas about
solving the problem? (PS. we do not want to create the procedure also in
DB 'two', and DB x, ... as it is always the same implementation...)
Thanks a lot!
