But for me it did not }happen. May be they are the same problem, isn't it. This error message is generated by OnLine when a database by the given name already exists. You should use tbmonitor to check that your database already exists. The reason that the .dbs directory isn't created is that OnLine does not use directories. If you have both SE and OnLine set up on your machine, you need to set the SQLEXEC environment variable to sqlexec, because it will use OnLine (sqlturbo)by default.
