Hell of problems with Informix!! client-SDK, ODBC

I recently downloaded the informix client SDK and I tried ODBC application connecting to Online and SE. The application connects properly to infomix server. But later when I execute sql commands, I am getting Data Access errors. The ILogin program, dbaccessworks fine from client. The same ODBC app works fine and smooth with Oracle, Sybase, Solid server, MySQL and many others. Informix gives lots of trouble. Is there any Quality problems with informix products?? With Client SDK?? Anyone experience problems with informix client SDK (Intersolv ODBC driver)??
