Re: trusted user ...?

We encountered a similar problem. We discovered that it was caused by using the "Ask Password at Run-time" (Informix-CLI) Set-Net option. When we switched to "No Password", the user was prompted for a password and everything worked. The problem and strange circumvention was reported to Informix Tech Support in case 680586.
