Hi, is there a known problem with columns ending with numbers and jdbc? Error message: [Macromedia][Informix JDBC Driver]Row is truncated by the database. This only appears if I include the column 'gesamt_steuer_10' or 'gesamt_steuer_20' (type:decimal 15) in the select statement. I use IIS 9.3 Regards, Michael
I think it is unlikely that the truncation is a result of the column name; you should be able to verify this by aliasing this column to some other name and/or aliasing some other column to this name. More likely it something to do with the column type. Is it accurate that it is a decimal(15), rather than decimal(15, s)? The reason I ask is that a lot of applications and some languages assume that all 'decimal' types are fixed rather than floating point. This can cause confusions when they encounter a floating point 'decimal'. Or, sometimes the Informix API will correctly report that the type is a floating point, but the precision or scale of the Informix type exceeds the precision or scale of the largest floating point type in the language.
